How I found this work
From Paris to parenthood in California.
My interest in birth began when I was a teenager in Paris. I read birth stories, watched videos, and wanted to understand how people could feel more supported through such an important experience.
I went on to study photography and newborn and postpartum care. During my last internship in the postpartum recovery service at the Maternité de la Muette, I met my first private client. I began postpartum work in 2008 and started my photography company in 2010.
In 2013, I came to the United States to learn English for a year. Life had other plans: I met my husband in Los Angeles, and I have called Southern California home ever since. I founded My French Doula in 2017, after welcoming our first child, and have supported and photographed families here ever since.
Experience, with room for your experience.
Becoming a parent myself reinforced something I already believed: birth and family life do not always follow the plan. You deserve support that adapts with you, whether you choose an epidural, an unmedicated birth, a home or hospital setting, or a cesarean.
I am here to help you gather information, ask questions, and feel heard. I also love the practical side of caring for a family: preparing food, noticing what needs doing, and making space for you to rest.
I welcome different family structures, identities, and paths to parenthood. We can work together in English or French.
A little life beyond doula work.
My husband and I moved to Lake Forest in 2019. We now have three children. Alongside bellies, babies, and photography, I love cooking, interior design, animals, and travel that gives us a glimpse of everyday life in other cultures.
